The impact of Britishers was not only limited to the peasants, farmers or tribals but also they had impacted the lives of students.
For, the British in India wanted not only territorial conquest and control over revenues. They also felt that they had a cultural mission: they had to “civilise the natives”, change their customs and values.
There were clashes of opinions in terms of education and many leaders expressed their views and many institutions, and laws were established in order to bring a change.
