What is a Fair Trial?

The trial which is conducted by a judge in an impartial way is known as Free Trial.
A fair trial ensures that the ARTICLE 21 of the constitution is upheld.

ARTICLE 21 of the constitution of India guarantees the right to life, states the person’s life and liberty can be taken away only by following a reasonable and just legal procedure.
The rule of law says that everyone is equal before law irrespective of their position and dignity.
